Ref support
Ref - Pickleball Score works with an iPhone running iOS 17 or later and an Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later. The Watch scores the match. The phone sets up the next match and displays recent history.
The phone and Watch are disconnected
Open Ref on both devices. Check that they are paired and able to communicate. The Watch can keep scoring offline. The phone's score can be out of date until the Watch reconnects.
Phone commands are not queued when the Watch is offline. Reconnect before requesting a start from the phone, or start on the Watch itself. After reconnecting, the Watch sends its saved match snapshot and recent history.
Ref Pro did not appear
On the iPhone, open Ref's Pro screen or Settings and choose "Restore purchase". Use the Apple Account that purchased Ref Pro. Reconnect the paired Watch after the iPhone shows Pro.
Pro adds best-of-3, best-of-5 and statistics for completed matches within your latest 30 records. Singles, doubles, standard scoring, undo and the latest 30 match records are free. Pro is not a subscription.
A score was entered incorrectly
Use Undo on the Watch. After a game ends, open the three-dot menu to find Undo. Undo of the winning rally removes that completed result from history until the match is won again.
Contact support
The support form will ask for your reply address and a short description. Include the app version in your message. Include your iPhone model, Watch model and iOS/watchOS versions when useful. Do not include passwords, payment card details or other private information.
Ref is an independent scorekeeping tool. It is not an official USA Pickleball product or a substitute for an official tournament referee.
