Ref privacy
Ref - Pickleball Score is a scorekeeper for iPhone and Apple Watch.
Match data
Your match scores, recent history and settings are saved on your devices. The paired iPhone and Apple Watch exchange settings, purchase entitlement status and match snapshots through Apple's WatchConnectivity. Ref does not upload your matches to an app-operated server. Ref does not provide iCloud sync.
Ref keeps up to 30 recent match records. A phone's displayed score can be out of date while its Watch is disconnected.
Purchases
Ref Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase on iPhone. Apple handles payment and purchase records. Ref reads verified StoreKit entitlements to unlock Pro and sends the entitlement status to the paired Watch. Ref does not receive your payment card details. Refund requests are processed by Apple.
An offline Watch keeps the last entitlement status it received. A refund or entitlement change takes effect on the Watch after it reconnects and receives the updated status. It does not remove your saved match records or stop a match already in progress.
Ads and accounts
Ref does not include an advertising SDK, third-party analytics, or an app account. It does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, health data or microphone access.
Support
If you contact support through the support page, share only the details needed to describe your problem. Do not send passwords or payment card details. The form uses Web3Forms to send your reply email address, subject and message to our private support mailbox. Web3Forms retains its copy for up to 30 days. Copies in the mailbox are retained separately while we handle your request. You can use the support form to ask about your support data.
Apple's services
Apple's services, including the App Store and WatchConnectivity, operate under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
